Honestly, the establishment was not transparent with their apartments regarding sizes. I gave two stars for that reason. The kitchen lacked kitchen mitts to take things out of the oven. Also, there were not any kitchen towels. Wifi was not good. Could not get it to work.Everything else was great.

The property itself was nice and well maintained. My room was subpar. The sheets were dingy, the towels were hard. The walls had holes in it. The bed was broke and sloped on one side. The air unit was leaking and had water stains on the wall. I was not happy with my room. It was also to much furniture for such a tiny room. The shower had some mold on the shower ceiling or it needed a good cleaning. For the property to be so nice that particular apartment needs some work and upgrades.

Hold onto your seats. This is gonna be a long one. First of all, the friendliness of the staff that checks you in is a one star. There was no option for that in this survey. Second, the company that owns the specific apartments that we used are scammers. When I booked the room on Expedia, I got the one bedroom apartment. When I arrived, I was given a studio apartment, which is one room. I did not pay for that. It was not until we checked in that the owner of the apartment told me that the one bedroom wasn’t available, but that she would move me to a one bedroom the next day. She claims she tried to call me, but she did not. She didn’t even try to send me a message on Expedia, which you can do so. My number is clearly there as well as my other information. When I asked for a refund, she claimed she was going to refund me once we checked out. I called Expedia customer service and there Other department in regards to this because I got insurance to make sure that my experience would be good if something went wrong. Something indeed went wrong. If you book this particular apartment and this particular room, be very careful. It’s listed under. La can you read off what I sent you read off the what I sent you LaDade-Kotopon,GH. This isn’t the name of the company. This is a location. That should have been my first red flag. There are other companies that own apartments in this building so this does not reflect them. I’m still waiting for my refund.

Great area in the heart of Accra with excellent service. The only concern is Expedia should incorporate the contact number of the agent that has to be called to assist in check in. Reaching the hotel before a you learn that you have to contact Expedia for an agent to assist you to check in is not helpful; very frustrating especially when the agent’s phone is off. That was my experience but above all, I had an excellent stay.

The grounds at Embassy Gardens are beautiful.The property attracts a lot of international guests. While the property is close to the US Embassy and is within a five minute walk from some outdoor kiosks, it is better to have a car or call an Uber to get around town. The front desk is helpful and the check-in/check-out process was easy enough. There were a few issues during our stay that was quickly resolved except for the availability of an extra key which is highly unusual for a stay for two people, especially since there is no way to lock the door without a key from the inside of the room. As far as the condition of the unit that we stayed in, we could tell that there was water damage along the bases of the door frames and the peeling paint in the bathroom ceiling above the toilet. Overall, the place looked well lived in and could use a fresh coat of paint. After a few minor repairs and painting, the unit would be very nice. The apartment is appointed with nice appliances that for the most part work well. The included washer/dryer unit did not really dry the clothes per say, but there is an included drying rack on the balcony to hang out laundry. If you are used to drying your clothes quickly, the unit is the apartment you stay will not be able to dry. The cleaning staff came by every other day and was pleasant and kept the place well cleaned.

Second time staying at Embassy Gardens with my husband and two small kids. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained. The agency was very responsive, with someone on call at all times.
