Monarch Hotel
VERY friendly staff. I stayed 3 weeks had no complaints except for occasional very minor glitches … normal for that duration. Those were addressed instantly. Room soon felt like a comfortable and familiar “nest” in Addis. Two restaurants were better than most external restaurants. Recommend.

Grand Eliana Hotel Conference & Spa
I was dropped off but it was difficult to navigate to the front desk unless you're dropped off in front of the main entrance. The facility was definitely dated, and there were a few broken/non-functional items in the room. For example, my TV was not connected (as in the wires were spliced and dangling) ...
