A charming motel and surprisingly warm given how chilly the weather was and, as the property is old, some of the windows did not quite close properly. Staying at the Hahndorf Old Mill Motel set the scene for a captivating town with so many shops and experiences to enjoy.

Very dissapointing. Heater did not work properly and it was very cold. No wifi. Tv was very small and could only get one channel. Not a smart tv so we couldn't stream. Walls were cracked...smelt very musty. No soap in the soap dispenser in the shower. The actual hotel was nice and the pokie room was lovely. Meals were nice. Unfortunately no breakfast amenities...no toaster or microwave. Should have looked around for a better place to stay.

3rd stay at the Old Mill. Whilst it's sad to see so many areas "offline" and either waiting renovation or refurbishment, the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. Great position, we will be back again :-) PS - Bring back the live music & DJ's on Fridays & Saturdays.

I was in and out quickly for one night so I just wanted a simple room. It is a simple room but it was really warm when I expected it could easily have been cold and draughty in a historic old hotel. Equally, the bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept really well. I expected and was perfectly ok with a simple table / dresser / bathroom etc and that was all fine because it was clean, but the fact the bed was really good and the room was warm without needing a heater meant I wasted zero time on playing with room controls and got to sleep quickly. Staff were also very helpful considering I was a late 11pm arrival and I was able to move on qucikly in the morning
