The room smelled strongly of mold/mildew. It seemed the hotel was aware of this as there was a portable air purifier in the corner of the room. "The stay was excellent. the premise and rooms were very clean. really enjoyed the large lounge area also. . the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was also very friendly. The meals were great includung the free breakfast. The only recommendation I would suggest is to have a complimentary coffee/tea available in the evenings."

"This isn't like staying at any regular hotel. Didn't see staff at all, in our 5 day stay it was like we had the entire place to ourselves. This was our 2nd time there and we were very pleased with the room and the quiet atmosphere. Very quaint inn and worth a few inconveniences (stairs, no room or maid service) for the unique experience. The rooms are elegant and very cozy.
