"The inside decoration was unique, the entirely wooden interior was a charming implement of the inn. Breakfast was simple but nutritious so I am glad this was included in the room's price. Most important though was the comfort of the room and the bed itself, I'd recommend this place for its great location and peace of mind."

"It’s a nice spacious place close to downtown - the balcony facing the High Peaks is really quite a bonus. Parking is easy, the grounds are nicely maintained. This will likely be my go to at Lake Placid."
The Alpine Lodge

"It’s always nice to stay at the Alpine. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable but the lack of staff is a drag. I stayed two nights and on the second could not locate my room key number. I sat in the car at 11 pm trying to find it in my email. It took 30 minutes before I finally found it. I wish there was a number to call but I tried that on another stay and didn’t get an answer until the next day. Nevertheless this is a nice place to stay"

"If you love the outdoors while enjoying some creature comforts, this is the place. GREAT location, friendly staff, very well run/operated. Highly recommended. You can't go wrong here. I've stayed at many different sites. This may be at the top. My 9yr old son loved it. Thanks Huttopia for a memorable stay!"

"Beautiful spot, right on lake with some options for use of kayaks, paddleboards. Nice pool as well. Rooms were very clean, if a little dated, but our suite was large and accommodated us well. Staff was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Would come back!"
