"I would never consider staying here again. For the price charged, the experience was completely unacceptable. The room felt grimy and poorly maintained from the moment we walked in. The bathroom was a genuine safety hazard—the toilets and floor were incredibly slippery. To make matters worse, the onsen was unhygienic and visibly full of hair. It’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority for the management here. To top it off, we were hit with a 400 yen accommodation tax at checkout. While I realize this is a Kyoto city requirement, paying extra fees for a hotel that can’t even keep its facilities sanitary felt like a total rip-off. Save your money and find a cleaner, safer place to stay in Kyoto. This was a massive letdown."

"The shuttle to kyoto station was very convenient. We were told that the breakfast ran until 10:30. When i went back up to get more food at 10:02 they were starting to put the food away and one of the people was very snotty and pointed at her watch, telling me i could not get any more food. The hotel should not tell people and print on all of their cards and materials that the breakfast runs until 10:30 when that is not actually the case. That really put a bad smell on an otherwise very nice stay. "

"Wonderful hotel! Beds are so comfy. Although room is a little small, it’s a little big already for Japan standards. We had the standard double room, and the beds are twin XL beds, a bit tight for 2 ppl to sleep in, but they did make the sofa bed wonderfully for my daughter so we were all comfy. Love how they have free drinks, and free locker service. It’s close to the station like 2 blocks which is not too bad. Breakfast was good. Amenities were good. Staff is excellent! I can definitely recommend! "
