Perfect blend of modern hotels with tradional Japanese housing. Very well maintained, house keeping was impecable, staff really helpful and nice. The only thing I missed was a middle range restaurant and a bar for late night drinks.

The hotel is very nice with big and spacious rooms (relative to Japan 😅). The staff are great and very helpful. There is a lack of gym which is lacking but not so terrible. Also the location is close to Kyoto Station but a bit far from Nishiki.

Lovely small(ish) hotel. It is stylish very comfortable and has a real boutique feel. Location is good too - easy stroll to train station and underground station. A bit longer but pleasant walk to main shopping areas (market, Pontocho and Gion). Amenities could be a little better but highly recommend as a base for visit to Kyoto.
