"The property seemed very unprepared for our arrival. It was raining and we wanted to go straight to our room. They had a coded entry that failed to work. I had to call the property number several times before I got the correct code to unlock the physical key box. The internet connection was terrible and kept going in and out. Given that cell reception in the area was poor the lack of internet was a real problem. I texted the property number about the problem. Crickets. Even after we checked out there was no apology. In addition, the advertised hot tub was out of commission. There were no instructions about how to find ice. For what we paid for the room it was poor value."

"I was completely satisfied with the check -in, grounds, parking, privacy. The staff wax more than accommodating. I checked out at 3:00 am because we had a long drive. We discovered a screw in a tire and didn't want to start down the 128. I called the late check in number to see if we could go back to the room until 7:00 am when the repair shop opened. He was more than accommodating. Thank you,"

"My partner and I were very excited to stay here. Before our arrival, we were informed that the occupancy during our visit would be low, so we inquired about a paid upgrade at check-in. Unfortunately, our request was denied, even though we saw many vacant rooms and very few cars in the parking lot. This left us confused about the unavailability of an upgrade. Additionally, the room next to ours was booked by a family who were up very early, and we could hear every footstep. We had hoped for a bit more privacy during our stay. On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant, and the live music was a wonderful touch. However, we wished we had been acknowledged as hotel guests during our meal, as other guests were. The server assumed we were not staying at the hotel (despite our reservation) and dropped off the check without asking, which made us feel a bit singled out. Overall, all of the associates were extremely friendly, and the views were absolutely stunning!"

"We stayed in the Cypress Cottage. It was very quiet and comfortable. You could see the ocean from the window and the kitchen was stocked with all you need for cooking. They supplied coffee, tea and a complimentary bottle of wine. The carpet needed to be removed due to age in the eating area, stained. Upon entry the cabin smelled of dogs from the past. We had to air it out. We were not particularly bothered by this being a dog owner ourselves but not what we wanted to smell on a getaway without our dog. Otherwise, the cabin was lovely, self check in a breeze and atmosphere fantastic!"
