Great place to stay on a budget

Location was good, about 25 mins (mainly uninspiring) walk from the historic centre. Car parking was free outside, or €5 inside. Bed comfortable, good shower. Kitchenette area was perfect if you're looking to have your own food, as we were. Staff friendly.

A budget-friendly option

Price was good for 6 nights. Accommodation was ok, no room cleaning if you opt for one of the studios. Steep charge if you require late check-out, which we did due to flight cancellation. Staff were friendly & helpful. Location 30 minutes walk to town centre or buses nearby.

So-so hotel

Annoying hand-held shower in beat-up tub, dirty drapes, aged decor, weird safe, poorly-equipped kitchen. Helpful staff, good linen service.

We travelled with dogs and had booked breakfast. We did not expect to take the dogs into the dining room but could not take them into the patio/terrace area. Had to juggle very small tray only big enough for one persons food back to the apartment with no assistance. Would have gone into Aix for breakfast if we ha known this in advance.

The room was very very dirty, they entered in it without my authorisation, messed up my things and the sofa bed and the heating, first night no hot water. It is not safe, they go inside of many rooms and despite the cameras, the manager refused to give the images prooving they entered inside. Obviously I will relate it to the authorities.

Ok, but not great

Kitchen was well equipped. Lobby staff good but cleaning staff poor (no TP, left door open). Facility not being well maintained. Long walk to center but easy access to city buses.
