"Peaceful and scenic location (15-20 mins from main towns by taxi), good beach that wasn't crowded in June, very family friendly. The room/suite was very well sized with a well equipped kitchen. The long balcony was very welcome, especially to enjoy the live evening musical performances. Breakfast buffet was excellent - gluten free offerings for coeliacs, as well as a separately prepared/cooked fry up on request (no sausages though!). Well stocked store on site along with two good restaurants....

Het enige grote minpunt zijn de deuren van de kamers - die blokkeren geen geluid van buiten, dat betekent dat je alles hoort wat er op de gang gebeurt: elk gesmijt van deuren en gesprekken/dronken geschreeuw of gelach van anderen is erg hoorbaar en kan ervoor zorgen dat het je nachtrust verstoord. Verder is het schoon en is er werkende AC, wat erg fijn is (en nodig in de zomer)"

"The location of this property is truly excellent. It is a boutique hotel and does it very well. Breakfast is wonderful. Location is great. It is near some very scenic overlooks of the harbor. Many restaurants and shops very nearby. The only problem I had was lights in the room were a little tricky to figure out so spend a second getting that straight. "Stunning view on St George bay and sea. Access to swim in the bay striaght from the hotel. Good breakfast choice. It can be loud in the evenings. This area of St Julian has lots of entertainment like bars and clubs. In total we enjoyed our stay at the Verde."

"The hotel is very clean, and the staff are all extremely friendly and very helpful. Gave us tips on where to go and what to do based on our interests. Staff went out of their way to meet any requirements we had, without hesitation. Spacious, clean rooms with AC. Great location, very central to everything. Within walking distance of most things. Rooms were cleaned every day when we would leave them. Great rooftop pool and bar, along with an indoor swimming pool and spa. Will be staying here again...

"Large, clean room with an amazing view. The staff were helpful. Beautiful pool, good location in the harbor. Great selection of fresh food at breakfast, but coffee was bitter, not tasty. The hotel is old, some cracks in walls and terraces, the many elevators are a maze, not all of them worked. We needed to take stairs to the elevators, or take an elevator to change to another elevator. Take maintenance staff starts work early, they work hard, but they also woke us up after 8:30am to fix an...

"This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent. The hotel is part of a group called G3 and we have eaten at several of their restaurants and the standard is also excellent. Won’t be our last visit either."

"Positiv: - Super Lage, um überall hinzukommen und die Insel zu erkunden. Viele Restaurants, Promenade und Bushaltestellen in der Nähe. - Schönes Hotel, große Zimmer, sauber, tolle Dusche. - Schöne Dachterrasse mit Pool. Negativ: - Einige Schulklassen waren da, die sich beim Frühstück nicht so benommen haben und den ganzen Pool-Bereich eingenommen haben. - Generell zu wenig Plätze am Pool, aber ab nachmittags findet man meistens was. - Fernbedienung für Fernseher hat nicht richtig funktioniert....
