"We like to stay at the Best Western Rio Grande because it is easily accessible, close to Old Towne, it is clean, the grounds are well kept, the staff is great and there’s a restaurant that offers a selection for a free breakfast instead of corn flakes and a waffle. We had our small service dog with us and they were very accommodating. "

"This was our second time staying at The Monterey, and we were in town for a concert. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with anything that we needed, and the property was in great condition! Our room was nice and clean when we walked in after a long travel day and was the perfect place to relax. The bar was great, and the parking was relatively easy. I have a large SUV (Ford Explorer), and the parking spaces were a bit tight, but if you have a smaller car than that you’ll have no issues...

"We were very disappointed to arrive and be told that they had overbooked. While we were given a free room at a nearby Hilton Garden Inn, it was still a disappointing experience after a long flight. "

"Great customer service, clean Hotel, there was a high pitched squealing coming from the toilet as the water was filling up but then it went off once it was full, definitely a plumbing issue. Love there fresh warm cookies upon checking in. I’ve stayed there several times and will continue to stay there. "

"Stayed a week here, no complaints. Room was clean and well supplied. The staff are all friendly and professional. The breakfast is among the best we've ever had at any budget hotel, with many choices and plenty of delicious, hot food. Coffee was great too. All in all, we had a very comfortable stay in Old Town Albuquerque. Be sure to tip these folks. They do a great job on a tight budget. We'll be back!"

"The “only” room available in the almost empty motel, had a tissue stuck to the ceiling, a broken necklace under the covers and 2 hand towels to dry my Barbarian sized ass out the shower. Not too mention the office had a rotted fish smell to it."

"No, other than items for sale on the property. This property isnt for everyone. If you want to relax, come and go as you want, eat homemade fantastic breakfasts and enjoy peace and quiet, this is it. Old west ambiance coupled with amazing customer service. A horse, chickens(in a coop) and a goat are outdoor residents. Darlene and Phil were Amazing hosts!"
