"The was very clean and comfortable, we were in the back of the hotel which was actually nice because of how quiet it was. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast was classic British full breakfast with the baked tomato…Excellent location not far from from the Micklengate and close to old town York. The bar and other sitting areas were very comfortable and welcoming."

"Pros: Good location, easy check in, staff were friendly enough. Appreciative a window had been left open to cool the room and have fresh air. Bed comfortable and towels changed, which is rare. Cons: Noisy room, humming heater throughout the night, stair access to room made it difficult and elevators are small and close very quickly - navigating bulky bags was a nightmare. The cost to park was not easy distinguished upon booking and also frustrating that it cannot be modified to suit your stay,...
