"Torrox itself isn’t a place to stay if you want to explore. Ubers are sky high (£45 for a 6 min drive or around £150 to travel to central Malaga) and Bolt doesn’t operate in the area. There are no restaurants nearby, and we found that the people in Torrox to be very rude with restaurant staff having no sense of customer service.
