Beautiful new hotel, but location and accessibility are factors
I recently stayed at ByPillow Paseo and had a lovely experience overall. The hotel is brand new and looks gorgeous; you can tell a lot of thought went into the design.
A few things to keep in mind:
• Location: It’s a bit of a trek to get to the main attractions. If you enjoy long walks, you’ll be fine, but otherwise, I’d highly recommend renting a car or using taxis.
• The Rooms: My bathroom was quite small, but it seems room sizes vary significantly. My friend’s room was much larger and even included a balcony, so it might be worth checking the specific room type when booking.
• Amenities: The gym is decent—not packed with equipment, but perfect for a simple workout. However, the jacuzzi was unfortunately not hot during my visit.
• Accessibility: I would 100% recommend this for solo travelers and couples. I would not recommend it for families with young children. Navigating a pushchair is difficult, and the lift is very tiny.
