The hotel was lovely and in a great location in the Old Town. Breakfast was really nice with friendly restaurant staff. The room (103) overlooking the Cathedral is large with a comfortable bed. The Bells and outside noise did not cause us any problems. Only a couple of small observations. 1. The shower tray is really slippy so be careful 2. It would have been nice to have coffee sachets as well as tea in the room. Overall it was a lovely stay and would recommend this Hotel.

Das Hotel war sehr toll und und das Personal stets zuvorkommend, nett und hatten immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer wurden täglich geputzt, es roch sehr gut und die Minibar wurde aufgefüllt. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral, was Ausflüge ermöglicht und auch ermöglicht, Alicante fußläufig zu erkunden. Das Gebäude ist wunderschön. Wir hatten Zimmer eins und es war sehr sehr hellhörig. Das sollte man bei der Wahl berücksichtigen. Da wir zur Semana Santa in Alicante waren, hatten wir auch ein unvergessliches Erlebnis von dieser tollen Zeit. Das Frühstück fanden wir eher Mau, vor allem, da ich kein Fleisch esse. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel besuchen.

Breakfast is in a cozy coffee place with fresh orange juice, coffee from beans and fresh eggs. Excellent location with very nice room with little balcony/ sound isolating windows/ high ceilings, clean and comfortable rooms, nice modern shower and good smelling shower gel, bathrobes, friendly considerate staff also helping with extras.

Supermarkets near by coffee/ bakery doesn t open until 8.30 am no coffee in room , when i asked for some said they had ran out but could make me some room service 5 euros charge at check out ? Did have tea and complimentary water fizzy juice in fridge fan/ heater not working in the room .

Great location in old town. Hotel easy to find and staff welcoming. We were surprised to find we were allocated Room 3 which was more like suite and slept 4 people. Free soft drinks and water from mini bar.

Absolutely fabulous hotel very beautiful Rustic architecture lovely old original large staircase so much character, Cosy. The Room was big tall ceiling with balcony looking over the Alicante rustic streets, great shower. Breakfast was good in a lovely restaurant area attached to hotel but can be accessed from the street. Lots of restaurants, so close to the beach & casino lots of bars Buzzing area near castle definitely will stay here again

Room clean and spacious. Breakfast very good but exactly the same each day. A lot of noise outside late at night (till 2 am) and then very noisy again from 7 am. Rooftop terrace closed. No bar or area to relax other than room.

In my opinion this is definitely not a 4*hotel. It’s a charming old entrance and staircase, but these are just rooms. There are no hotel features, no lounge, no actual restaurant, no outdoor space ( rooftop closed, allegedly because of past storm), so there was nowhere to relax in sun.One female receptionist unhelpful and sullen. Would definitely not stay again. Location good, but noise within hotel echoes and noisy outside, certainly at weekends. We were supposed to have a superior double room, but according to website photos, we were given a standard room. Receptionist told us this was not the case, so rather than argue, we gave up. Hated going in and out of the place after that!

Our room 102 needs updating very shabby & not in a nice way, our room was very, very noisy, very dated bathroom with an extremely low toilet. Would not say it was boutique nice character but never boutique, Ed linen worn, hard towels there was nothing boutique or luxury about this hotel especially not room 102

The hotel is a very old, gorgeous and very central place to stay. Room was spotless, staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast room was beautiful and the lovely breakfast was a perfect start to the day.
