Would have been good to have had more bottles of water (just 1 small provided) room was very hot with no fan/AC and the road noise was awful, not a very good night sleep."

"We had a nice stay here. The only bug bear was that there was not much fruit at breakfast. I do not eat fry ups in the morning. The only fruit was apples. Maybe a dish of mixed fruit or bananas would have been nice. The staff were really pleasant and the hotel itself was fine for our 2-day stay. The bedroom could have been a little bit more updated, paint off in most places, the en-suite was old fashioned, could be done up more modern really."

"Good amenities and grounds. Hotel is really showing its age, especially the rooms. Mine was very dark with a tiny bathroom. Lots of little imperfections and stains on the carpet. Definitely not worth the money I paid, £115 + for the night, solo traveller."

"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! "The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean it just lacked air con and with a tiny bedroom window regardless on the heating not being on there was hardly and airflow within the room. Couldnt fault anything else had a lovely stay"
