"Our 12th floor room had views over the railway station towards Adelaide Oval and thankfully was very well insulated from noise from the ground during a football match. The room was quite spacious with a return bench that worked as a desk, an easy chair in one corner and plenty of room around the bed. "Although i had booked for a non smoking room i was given a room on 1st floor that doors open out to a communal balcony where everyone smoked and left their butts on the froubd . The room stunk of stale smoke and the net curtains could practically stand on there own for the grime. Also its next to bars so music is loud and police siren's. Bed was fantastic but cleaniness was poor, staff where lovely . "

"We stayed for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel is just stunning and was the perfect location for getting ready. We just wish we had a room on the river side as our view was just the top and sides of other buildings which doesn’t make the best view. I have stayed before on the river side and it is just stunning. The staff were friendly and went out of there way to help us enjoy our stay."

"Enjoyed our two night stay at the Grand Chancellor. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly, no question was too hard to answer, and they were happy to do so. Rooms were well presented, clean, spacious. Excellent hot water in the shower, pressure was wonderful! "Mantra is a reputable accomodation chain. I have particularly stated at this Hindmarsh facility, on four different occasions. It does feel like home to me, on every stay. Staff are wonderful and caring, listens to your requests and work towards it. Good breakfast also. Thanks chef 👍 One drawback here is the narrow entrance to the basement car park.
