"Beautiful place lovely hotel nice bar I didn’t try the restaurant but it looked nice. The staff spoke very little English which is surprising in this day and age but you can’t have everything. There were some low beams that me and my son kept banging our heads on. I will return for a longer visit as it is in a stunning location but we were just passing through"

"Had a two night stay here for a tour of the Maginot line. The owner is a lovely man who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well looked after. We are in the restaurant one night which was very good value and again staff were excellent. The rooms lack a few amenities like coffee machine but overall a great little hotel which was very good value for money "

It’s important to remember that this is a small business run by a couple, and sometimes reviews don’t reflect the full picture. We stayed here for a week and found everything to our liking. "We stayed in room 9 (bottom floor). The room itself is amazing. Bed is very comfy, lots of storage, good furniture layout and a huge bathroom! There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. The room has great aircon, and when set to the quiet setting, is nearly silent! The balcony is extensive and private which is great!
