"Room temp was not consistent, room above just very loud for hours in the morning"

"Very clean room and lovely little space. Booked this room myself for work purposes and the cost for the value was awesome. Relatively inexpensive and you could tell the staff took pride in what they do. The toilet paper was even folded into little triangles at the end of the roll; small details really set this place off in a good way. I recently have had to stay in another local hotel that is much bigger, a more recognizable name, etc. and hands down I would pick Quality Inn over them any day....

"I have stayed at this particular Holiday Inn several times now and it has always been an absolutely terrific experience every time. The hotel is kept clean and tidy, the rooms are great and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating."

"I could be wrong but it appears this building is used as a homeless shelter! Pulled in and there were multiple drug deals going on in the parking lot. Room was decent, bath tub was filthy and the halls smelled like marijuana at all times of the day and night!"

"We spent two nights and had a pleasant stay overall. Very clean, beds where comfortable and it was quiet at night. The staff went out their way to accommodate us with a crib and Rhea was helpful at the front desk. About a 10 min walk to Notre Dame. Would stay again."

"I arrive late at night to check in to a reservation I had already made and confirm, just to arrive there saying it was overbooked. I end up searching for another hotel nearby."

"Staff was great. Office closes at 10pm so make sure if you run out to you car you have your key. Outside in the back were I walked the dog looked like a homeless camp. Parking lot very dirty. We had no power so didn’t have many choices with a dog. Price was great and lots of food options close"

"Had to wait till 6pm to check into a room with only 1 bed when I reserved a room with 2 beds. No smoke detector, no hot water, no soap, plugs didn’t work properly. Blinds barely closed. The room was “clean” as it seemed like it was just finished being half remodeled."

"The young man at the desk was very friendly and kind (AND I have to mention a ginger with blue eyes!) Very nice young man and helpful as well. Breakfast was awful. I know it's free so shouldn't complain but, ice cold eggs and sausage. They were even in a warmer. Otherwise the room was nice, the bed comfy anr/ .shower was great."

"This was a most awful experience and Expedia did not make it right. I booked my hotel stay with Expedia at the Baymont by Wyndham in South Bend Indiana for June 15, 2026. The photographs online looked nice and the place looked clean. However, when I arrived to stay at this hotel, there were people just outside of the front door to the hotel smoking "cigarettes," and there were several cars in the parking lot with broken windows.
