The property was really pretty. The room was clean and comfortable. There are no restaurants in the area, but there is one on site. The young woman serving us was so incredibly slow, I am not even sure how to describe it. Just for example..... We asked for the check, waited 15 minutes. Asked again, waited again. Then someone else brought us the check because she was at the bar on her phone. So so bad. The food was not good, very disappointing. If I could separate the hotel and the restaurant, I would give the hotel a 5 star review (the front desk seemed to be "over" the tourist thing, but most everyone else was nice). I would give the restaurant a 1 star review. So bad.

Beautiful landscaping, pool extra special with water spray modern. Room quiet and large with a large patio.....Special stay with my pet. Yes I can take my pet in the restaurant and grounds just not the pool area.

We chose this property as best location for Caminito del Rey trail. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had the "Movie" room which was very original although not very recommended for people that do not wish to go up&down the stairs but cool touch. The restaurant was very good which plenty of choices and staff on top of everything. I can see this is also a great place to stay in the summer with the pool and the amazing views!

We had a room with a view. They look bigger on the pictures, than in reality. The stairs to the top floor is very steep and narrow. The breakfast is served and needs a bit longer than a buffet. Access to the Caminito del Rey is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Persoonallinen hotelli ja kivat huoneet ja ympäristö. Kivasti oli alueen historiaa ja kierrärystä käytetty sususrukseen. Olisi kiva kokea tämä paikka lämpimällä säällä kun uima-allastakin voisi käyttää. Äänieristys huoneissa aika heikko. Ravintolassa hyvä ruoka.

Brilliant stay during our visit to Caminito Del Rey. Hotel is situated right next to the train station and just a 5/10 minute walk away from the South entrance. Room was spacious and clean, only downside was that the air was very dry due to the AC. Lovely pool area with sunbeds overlooking the hills. Outside restaurant area had a fantastic view and would definitely recommend eating there. We did for both nights of our stay and had a great mix of traditional food and drink. Great value for money for a stay during the off season.

Loistovalinta
Persoonallinen, erilainen, viihtyisä, siisti, ystävällinen - sitä kaikkea oli La Garganta meille. Viivyimme 2 yötä, ja saimme mainion huoneen, joka oli kolmessa kerroksessa; kerrosten välillä kapeat ja hieman ahtaat portaat. Makuuhuone ja kylppäri oli keskikerroksessa. Ei ihan huonojalkaisten huone. Uima-altaaseen olisi ollut ihana pulahtaa, mutta marraskuussa lämmittämätön allas oli liian kylmä. Lämmin suositus, jos etsit erilaista majoituskokemusta matkallasi. Hotellin aamupalakin oli oikein riittävä. Illallinen oli ihan ok.

We loved the location just next to the bus stop for Caminito (we slept overnight and got into the first group for hike the next morning). The room was clean and tidy, just a bit unusually designed (strange looking dining spoons, forks and knives fixed to the ceiling, the bathroom/toilet doors are totally transparent that can be difficult for some guests that are not close family, friends for example). The food was average, not superbe. Breakfast was better than dinner. Quite alot flies in the hall and breakfast area- but not in room).

Hello!! Thank you very much for visit us! Our rooms have differents decorations :) As we are in a mountain area and we take care of the environment, we try don't use chemical sprays ans that's why sometimes flies comes to say hello :) However, we take note of that ;)

The property is in excellent condition with out of the ordinary rooms. Great staff and the view is exceptional. The rooms adjacent to the ones in construction shouldn’t have been rented. There was a constant knocking and grinding from 7 to 7 during our stay.

BUENA ELECCIÓN
Está situado junto a la parada de los autobuses lanzadera a la entrada del caminito, el personal al igual que el hotel son agradbles, recomiendo este alojamiento para los que vayan a recorrer el caminito del rey.

Caminito hotel with a view
Fab location, and hotel got our Caminito tickets for us. Reception staff lovely. Restaurant a bit understaffed. Terrace beautiful at night. Room was quirky, with steep spiral stairs to bed area. Pool area very nice with lots of sunbeds, and frear views again. Would definitely return.

Overall, one of the few hotels in the area if you’re looking to explore Caminito del Rey, and probably one of the nicer ones. The views were nice, but there is some electric factory directly across the river, which was a bit of an unexpected eye sore. We had a good recommendation from the hotel check in to explore some nearby trails, I’m still not sure if that was better or worse (we only had time for one) than doing the traditional Caminito del Rey paid/bridge walk... but we enjoyed it. I will say that the restaurant experience wasn’t great. The waitress was really rude and I think misunderstood that we had a reservation already (for 9pm) and were simply trying to come at 8:30. She seated us but wouldn’t let us sit in the waterfront seat that was “reserved” for someone else (pretty positive it was for us). We stayed there until close and no one ever came to that table. The food was okay. The pool was nice/cool/with amazing/relaxing views. The room itself was interesting/eccentric and clean.

Un gioiellino in un paradiso naturale
L'hotel si trova in una zona bellissima ed è comodissimo per chi deve fare il Caminito Del Rey (10 minuti di auto o autobus che ferma proprio difronte all'hotel). Molto carine le stanze su 2 livelli che offrono una vista strepitosa sulla Garganta. Di ottima qualità anche il ristorante in loco. I prezzi sono nella media... davvero un'hotel che consiglio fortemente.

La experiencia podría haber sido mejor si alguien nos hubiera informado que la habitación tenía una incomodísima escalera de caracol que nos impidió subir el equipaje a la zona superior. Dicen que nos informaron de ello, pero yo les reto a que lo demuestren. Hasta nuestra llegada no teníamos idea que existieran tales habitaciones ni siquiera que nos iba a corresponder una de ellas. Si hicieran como los cines, teatris o los cruceros, que a la hora de reservar te enseñan el plano del recinto y elige de entre las opciones disponibles la que más te interese, otro gallo nos cantaría, pero mientras tanto, vamos a los hoteles a ciegas, podemos tener suerte... o no.

Super helpful staff, spacious rooms
We chose La Garganta primarily because they manage Caminito del Ray tickets, which practically means they arranged admission for us, when they were sold out on official website of Caminito. They did it seamlessly! Moreover hotel has nice swimming pools, clean and spacious rooms, free parking. Beware - stairs to the 1st floor in the room are quite steep and noisy (metal).

Bonne base pour le Caminito del Rey
Hotel décore de façon très original. Nous avons eu une belle chambre de taille généreuse avec une très belle salle de bain. Vu le peu d’ouverture, cela peut être un peu sombre. Idéalement placé à l’arrivée du Caminito del Rey.
