"The hotel is right by the railway station and a short walk to the town centre, the lobby and bar area are nice, the lift was out of order whilst we were there, hotel staff really nice, room was good, quite warm, bathroom was OK, water from the shower not that warm, breakfast buffet ok nothing too fancy, overall a good stay"

"Lovely hotel, beautiful location by river, handy for local places of interest.Hadrians wall, lots of great walks, lovely villages nearby. Room good, clean and spacious, food excellent at breakfast and in restaurant. Staff, particularly on reception were very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel, and would love to stay again in future."
