We got a larger room this time with a courtyard facing window. Being converted from 200 year old townhouses, these rooms are quirky. Again, it’s a 200 year old building. There are noises. "It was a super cozy stay. The staff was very kind and there was coffee every morning. Everything was a decently short walk from the hotel as well. We didn’t need an Uber for anything we did except to go to the airport. "

"This is my second time staying, and there isn’t a bad thing I can say about this hotel. Great pool, bar/lounge and a cute rooftop. The room is perfect, clean and modern with all the normal amenities.. and great lighting (which is rare for a hotel). "Our stay was amazing. We went from Sunday through Thursday however, I was disappointed that we didn’t receive the room we booked. They placed us in a room that was ADA. We are tall people and the sink was very low. However, outside of that, the location is perfect close to Bourbon down the street from Canal. Everything is within a 20 minute walking radius. "I am from NOLA and when I get a chance I come stay since moving out of state. This is the first time I have stayed at the Bienville House and this will be my home base from now on. Staff have been great, parking on site and the room met all expectations. The sundeck was an upgrade offered to me and glad I chose it. House of Blues is just across the street along with Kerry’s Irish Pub along with a cigar shop in the next block."
