"My stay at palazzo vitagliano was a dream! As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly safe here. The staff are SO sweet and welcoming. Extremely attentive. Very communicative. They would write to me on WhatsApp inquiring if I needed anything or if I need any recommendations. The property is located VERY close to the city center, the beach, the ferry port, AND the bus station. Such an amazing location. I will be staying here when I return to Amalfi!"

"The hotel la bussola is a very nice hotel with friendly staff who are very accommodating. The breakfast was great and the dinner in the restaurant was good. The proximity to the main plaza was perfect for walking. The bathroom shower design was too small for us and the double mattress were uncomfortable. I would stay there again if the bathroom and the beds are changed. "

"The room was okay overall. It was clean and fairly spacious, but unfortunately quite noisy. We could clearly hear guests in the rooms next to us and above, which was disruptive both at night and early in the morning. The shower was also quite small. The location was a highlight, about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. It felt quieter than staying right in the middle, which suited us well. We didn’t try the breakfast, but it is worth noting that only a continental option is available in the mornings, despite there being a restaurant on site. This is a suitable option if you are simply looking for a place to sleep and shower, but do not expect much beyond that. One concern during our stay was that a staff member entered our room with a key while we were still sleeping, and no proper explanation was provided, which was odd."

"Staying in Hotel Residence was one of our the best experiences. The Hotel is recently renovated The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was equipped with Jacuzzi. You could have a relaxing time after hiking or sepending day in beach. Our room had a view to both beach and city central. The best things about this hotel, is about few minutes walk from ferry or bus. You don't need taxi or carry your luggage to up hills. The breakfast had a great selection. Meanwhile it had the best view toward the beach. Thanks to friendly professional staff."
