Awesome staff, family owned and operated who go out their way to assure their guests are happy. Awesome coffee shop and breakfast. The hotel is a bit far from the famous city center and guests have to hike up and down to get there or catch a ride.

The view from my room was the highlight of my trip. The room is small but you have everything you might need. Antonio and his daughter were a pleasure to deal with. If you come here, take the time to enjoy their terrace with lounge chairs and amazing views of the ocean and cliffs. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s family operated.

Antonio and hos family own and run the hotel. They are welcoming, polite, and informative. The rooms are well maintained and clean. Breakfast is provided at a cost. It is about a 10 minute walk to downtown Amalfi. The view from our room was breath taking over looking the ocean. We slept with the windows open as there was a cool seq breeze nightly. Hotel Bellevue is a warm, family-run hotel that feels different from the other large luxury hotels in Amafi (in a good way). The owner was so sweet- he upgraded our rooms, gave us free parking and breakfast! The hotel is a short 15min walk to the heart of Amalfi and well worth it! Plus you never feel like you’re in the midst of the chaotic crowds of tourists. The last night, we sat on their beautiful terrace, enjoying home-made lemon chello from the owner! We will come back :)

This hotel exceeded expectations! The balcony area was so nice, gorgeous view. The room was very clean, very up to date. The service from the front desk was superb. They gave us directions to town and recommendations for dinner. Breakfast had many options and staff was pleasant and helpful . If you are walking and cone from town with luggage, I recommend getting bus going towards Positano, the Will stop at the hotel. Walk in to town is a beautiful walk. I am really glad we stayed out of town it was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. This stay was one of the highlights to our trip!

The hotel is impeccable. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the property. However, is important to consider that is up in one of the hills. You can walk down to the town but it’s hard to climb back up. There is no sidewalk and the road is busy with buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. That is Amalfi so do your research. Breakfast was bread, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee. They had hard boiled eggs too. They said they are not allowed to cook. So be prepared for that. There are a few restaurants walking distance but they close from 3pm-7pm. That is Amalfi and Italy for you. The owners are polite except for the most senior guy. We saw him slap a guest in the hand for trying to make a sandwich and putting it in the toaster oven. I got yelled at for accidentally taking a banana out of the breakfast area. The other guys who I assume are his sons were polite and helpful but be careful with that older guy.
