"Room was clean but without any windows you fell like in a cave. The glassdoor is right by a hallway were ppl would eat the preordered breakfast (if you don’t know that you have to fill out the sheet for every day you won’t get anything)
The bathroom vent wasn’t working for my in-laws which turned the cave in a moist mess.
Nothing got done to fix it.
We stayed 2 nights and that was enough, I wasn’t really disappointed that we didn’t get our breakfast bc it wasn’t really that great anyways… oh and you are not allowed to bring any outside food

"The Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi is situated higher up in Amalfi with stunning views. The hotel staff are very helpful and the free hotel shuttle to and from Amalfi city centre is a plus. The hotel room charge includes breakfast that is quite good. The pool is nice and clean. We were guests mid-May so did not get to go to their private beach.
I highly recommend this hotel!"
"Miramalfi was a dream! We enjoyed working with Rosita the concierge annd Mattia in the restaurant anlways greeted us with a smile. The entire staff was super friendly. This is a wonderful boutique hotel and we will definitely return soon! Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. "
"Asia is the host and takes care of everything you need. The breakfast in the morning is freshly made for you. I loved the private rooftop area to lay out on and private beach area was so cool to walk too and enjoy. This plays has great views and just a 4-5 minute golf cart ride into the heart of Amalfi with all the shops and restaurants. FIVE STARS *****"
"The rooms are incredible! Even the simplest ones! The view is breathtaking. Its the best in Amalfi. The pool is heated so we swam in the pool. The restaurant is great with incredible food! Even the smell in the hotel is amazing"
"The hotel is impeccable. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the property. However, is important to consider that is up in one of the hills. You can walk down to the town but it’s hard to climb back up. There is no sidewalk and the road is busy with buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. That is Amalfi so do your research. Breakfast was bread, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee. They had hard boiled eggs too. They said they are not allowed to cook. So be prepared for that. There are a few restaurants walking distance but they close from 3pm-7pm. That is Amalfi and Italy for you. The owners are polite except for the most senior guy. We saw him slap a guest in the hand for trying to make a sandwich and putting it in the toaster oven. I got yelled at for accidentally taking a banana out of the breakfast area. The other guys who I assume are his sons were polite and helpful but be careful with that older guy."
