The General Manager, a white female by the name of Carter was Highly unprofessional, her customer service is horrible, she has No Business in this type of work. If I were her Supervisor I would have Fired Her on the Spot. I had booked two days through Expedia but only one showed as being booked. The staff called and threatened to remove my personal property and place it by the front desk.
When I called to figure out what had gone wrong, the General Manager named Carter answered, I then asked her some questions about what had gone wrong. This seemed to upset her and the calmer I was, the louder she got, and she became very aggressive, obnoxious and rude.
Carter then yelled out, thus saying " I'm just going to check you out!" and she hung up on me.
I never raised my voice at Carter, I did not use any inappropriate language, I remained professional and calm. I am a retired Texas State Trooper and was in Amarillo Tx to conduct some training for a Christian based organization. This General Manager's behavior was Highly Unacceptable for a customer-based business, and she should be FIRED!
I never want to stay at this Holiday Inn Express ever again, which is: Holiday Inn West Medical Center. 8231 Amarillo Blvd, Amarillo Tx 79124.
I will filing a complaint with either Corporate or the owner(s) of this Hotel.
