Property was clean but a bit worn out. These Zook cabins are cool but they don't hold up to wear and tear like they advertise. Lots of gaps in the tung and groove, there seemed to be a draft in the bathroom. We didn't stay long enough to make any meals in the kitchen but everything looked functional. Overall it was a good stay over.

Super fun place to stay. Only recommendation for people showing up after hours-maybe bottled water in the wagons! Otherwise I would highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for fun along Route 66.

The wagon was so clean and ready to go. Staff was fun and helpful,parking was easy and no issue, we went during a heat wave and the wagon was very comfortable. The yard we had was so comfortable and relaxing to sit in. We will definitely be coming back. The whole experience was one of a kind.

We stayed in the cabin area. We had trouble with our code to get in. We enjoyed our stay. Also they had bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. Nice touch.

It was a fun place to stay with wonderful outdoor spaces next to the tiny log house. But we had to use our sound machine app on our phones, the truck traffic was loud. But thoroughly enjoyed the Cowboy Kitsch.

I really enjoyed staying in the covered Wagons. It was a cute little set-up, bathrooms were very close, and it had an outside area to enjoy. It was very warm when we stayed overnight and the ac took awhile to cool off the wagon but it did cool off at night. I didnt like how close the wagons were to the road. Its a very busy highway with big trucks. It was loud, but i was so tired that I still slept well. It also was very close to the Big Texan with shuttle service.

This place was really cute! There is a wall ax unit in the living room /kitchen and one in the bunk bed rooms. Those were super comfortable. The master bedroom doesn’t have one so it can get a bit warm. We were here end of July is it was 97 out. Overall really cute for the kiddos for a night

Room was very clean and cozy. The check in was done smoothly via email with great clear communication. We loved how the place made us feel camping/glamping in Texas. Parking was close to the room as well

You have to learn how to manage the AC or the room will get hot, so ask questions about the AC unit control. The room did cool down to our preferred temperature, we slept perfectly.

The chuckwagon concept was attractive. It’s right next to the freeway, which made it loud to try and sleep in at night and I think it would do better if it was more remote, and you felt like you were more in the old western atmosphere.

Staying in a covered wagon was fun! Enjoyed the experience. Very clean wagon and very clean rest room only a few steps away. (You need to leave the wagon to use restroom). Due to the unique design of the covered wagon, it’s not as sound proof as a standard hotel room and we could hear some noise from the interstate nearby.
