"Great friendly staffs, good choice of breakfast
Good location
Room is small for a room with 2 medium size dogs and two adults
Small table fan provided for warm weather but it was dusty and noisy when turned on
It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room"

"Room was on the roadside so no view and lower than the road so.o0eming the blinds meant people being able to see down into the room. Staff were friendly but their system for checking was odd, just a section at the end of the bar and online check in didn't work.so had to re do all the details.
Breakfast system to order gluten free or vegetarian was to order at the bar not in the kitchen and then they brought it to you but you had to go back to the kitchen to get the rest of the meal. Breakfast...

"The cottage is well equipped for self-catering for a family of 4. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space in the living / dining areas.
Quiet and with easy access to the heart of Ambleside, it is in a great location."

"The staff were great - friendly and welcoming.
The room was on the small side but we were only there for one night, and it was clean and comfortable (and the view of the hills was lovely). There was a large fan provided, which was very welcome given the heatwave that was taking place that week,
We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.
A perfect place for an overnight in the Lakes."
