"This hotel is advertised as being completely remodeled. There's been major work done, but there are still issues. The bathroom door had issues closing. There must have been a bump in the floor, since it scraped across this to close completely. The paint job in the bathroom didn't appear to be completed properly. May have been missing part of the door frame that made the colors look off. There was a piece of duct tape in the center of the ceiling in the bedroom, but don't know why it was there. The door had been painted for the room, but there were several dents in the door. Going out the side door to the parking lot, the door didn't latch completely, which defeats the security purpose of having to use your key to enter the building. Also, the elevator at the front of the building was not in service. Tried calling the front desk, by dialing zero as stated on the sign in the room, which didn't work as indicated. Still needs some fine tuning to make sure everthing is in working order."

"We booked the last room they had on about a months notice and were hoping for the best. We were SO pleasantly surprised by the suite itself and the whole hotel. Breakfast was good for hotel food and the room was incredibly spacious and even had a garden jetted tub and fireplace. It was a great ending to a long trip for us."

"Beautiful CCC log cabin. TV hard to use. Our fireplace didn’t work, the lady at the front desk didn’t know how to operate the fireplace. We’d payed $150/night, but no housekeeping. I had breakfast daily at the restaurant-very excellent. Beautiful setting. Clean property. HVAC was easy to use."

"The room seemed to be upgraded. Our room was very clean and comfortable beds. The lobby area could use a good deep clean and the windows cleaned, very dirty. Friendly staff and ample parking."

"This Super 8 is very well situated for our trips to Sterling. Check-in was very efficient this time! Staff was friendly and helpful. We used smaller room on first floor with queen-sized bed. Bed was very comfortable. Larger rooms with king-sized beds are on the second floor. WiFi was very good and TV worked well. Breakfast has gotten more spartan (cereal, milk, apple juice, coffee, toast, and pastry). Parking was convenient."

"A little farther off the map but I do love not paying tolls, the hotel was in a great location located next to pretty good fast food and a restaurant. Pool was refreshing as I forgot how hot it was!! Breakfast was so good too! Thank you for the stay!"

"One night. Had a king suite. Has a full stocked kitchen. Hotels is in the process of a remodel. My room was perfect. Everything was spotless. Bathroom was extremely clean. All the appliances and tv were practically brand new! Even parked my motorcycle in front under the overhang. 24 hour lobby. Several restaurants and fast food close. Near the Historical Dixon Theater. I definitely will stay here again. A++"
