"We had a lovely stay in room 7 with a sliding door we could open to look out over the beautiful garden and view of the water. Towels were plush, room was clean and cozy. Everyone on staff is very friendly and the grounds were kept immaculate. Coffee was very tasty and always on, breakfast was blueberry pancakes and they were top notch. We used the water toys, the beach was private and the water warm compared to other areas in Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend"

"We arrived at the Super 8 Amherst with a positive first impression. Sadly, our stay was overshadowed by not being able to use the pool area. There were far too many kids, left unattended and running wild creating a loud and completely horrible pool setting. My kids were really looking forward to using the slide and were bullied and physically pushed out of the way from the large group of kids (my daughter is 14, not a tiny little kid easy to shove around. "Fox Harb’r is a remarkable place to golf, relax, bike, spa, enjoy the ocean. The facilities are excellent, staff from around the world, food outstanding and wine selection wide and fantastic. We played golf and enjoyed the spa. So many other options as well. Highly “very” highly recommend. We will bring friends next summer."
