Cancelled the booking well over a month beforehand due to the war in the Middle East - we were rerouted to Kuala Lumpa to avoid the conflict but hotel refused to refund the cost despite government advice not to travel to the region and plenty of notice. Not really the action of a 5 start hotel. All other bookings we made for this trip were incredibly accommodating."

"The staff were so friendly and helpful and my room was superb-huge, clean and quiet. I wish I had spent more time at the outdoor roof garden as it had comfy chairs and tables and amazing views. The breakfast was really varied and restaurants very good too. The hotel was also in an excellent location for airport and walking to the Souk Waqif, incredible museums, Corniche and hop on and hop off bus. "

"I was staying at the hotel during Ramadan, so lunch wasn’t available at the hotel. I ordered a cheeseburger through room service that cost about $15 USD, but it didn’t have any cheese at all, and the beef patty was so overcooked that it was burnt. I ate about half of it, but it was so bitter that I ended up throwing the rest away."

Bathroom was a bit small but the water pressure is okay. They never cleaned the apartment entire time I was there, even after I had requested. That was surprising to me."
