My first solo trip was great.
The hotel was in a nice location near a zoo and biotanic garden. Staff were help and they also made my stay feeling cosy and comfortable. My room was not far from breakfast room and room was cosy with a great view of the local area.

Here’s the thing. If you only stay here in Amsterdam you’ll think you were overcharged. But I stayed in 4 different places and this was easily the best value for money, in the best location. In my mind a great location at a decent bed beats a great bed at a terrible price in a terrible location or a terrible bed at a good price in a terrible location. At the price point of this hotel I promise you won’t find better.

Great location, nice hot shower, clean but dated
Great location, nice hot shower, clean but dated decor. The color scheme and poor finish off the room didn't really work for me and put me off using their breakfast service in the morning. Luckily there was a great little place nearby for coffees, fresh orange jus and a croissant plus we had a lovely meal out, again at a stones throw, at the pizza bakers.
