"I read the recent bad reviews but chose to try it anyway because the price was so much better than the local alternatives. I'm happy I tried it, because driving up, the outside was clean and well maintained. Entering, I noticed a great scent in the foyer, like they totally took care of any bad smell. It even smelled great in the back door entry and hallways. Everything leading up to the room and the room was clean. Bed was comfy with crisp sheets and good pillows. Towels were clean and ample. Soap and shampoo worked and were ample. The TV worked and was a good size. Even well displayed and organized continental breakfast. Yea, I will definitely stay there again. Maybe the secret was not to bring a pet and not smoke. They may have given me a good clean room because I did neither."

"Staff were outstanding and responded promptly to all of my requests. They were also warm and welcoming, even inviting me to participate in their informal chat times. The property is clean and close to a substantial shopping center and many restaurants. There were, however, several minor repairs that had been neglected in my room including a missing toilet paper roller and a room door which required considerable effort to close, but nothing that was a deal breaker. This is a low budget hotel which features fixtures and amenities that are simple and unglamorous, but which function adequately, by and large. I would not stay here for over one or two nights, but it met my needs for an affordable overnight stay that was near the airport."

"This is a very nice hotel only a mile from the Saratoga Springs downtown. Included are useful amenities such as shuttle bus service to all local points of interest including the downtown and racetrack, a complementary breakfast with a very good selection, an outdoor pool, and a pleasant lobby/reception area. The rooms are clean and well maintained with just one shortcoming. While the bathrooms are clean and modern, the shower enclosures could use some attention. Judging by the 2 rooms booked by myself and our friends, the enclosures had some discoloration from water stains along the joints in the walls; nothing horrible but visually unappealing. Aside from that one issue, the hotel is very nice and I would reserve a room there for a future visit."
