Costanzo is amazing, There is a fantastic beach club/pool you can use 400m away, his restaurant recommendations are perfect.. We loved getting away from the centre of Capri and relaxing at this part of Anacapri. Our 9 year old son also loved the chair lift to Mt Selerno. Perfect hosts and very clean property.

Glad for at vi valgte Anacapri, og ikke Capri. På denne siden var det en helt annen ro, men. Samtidig nok med restauranter og kafeer. Liten gåtur, så var du ved sentrum. Verten var en flott guide, og fortalte oss om alt og ingenting.

Beautiful secluded spot

Great service and breakfast. Nice simple room. Balcony views amazing. Costanzo will pick you up and drop you off at ferry terminal for 20 euro. Do not pack massive suitcases, the ferry experience and bus trip will be difficult

Fabulous!

Ginestre is a fabulous place! The Isle of Capri is wonderful and staying you are removed from the maddening crowds at the port. It is clean and well kept and views from the terrace are amazing. Costanzo, the owner, provides great personal attention and a lovely breakfast. He also recommended the nearby level walking paths, how to walk to Anacapri (just 20 minutes) and a great restaurant just 5 minutes away. You won’t want to leave!

This is a very special and enchanting place. The extremely friendly and welcoming owner, Costanzo, met us at the main port in his minivan. Hair-raising but picturesque drive up to the B&B in Anacapri. Stay in a very comfortable and cozy quad room with my wife and 2 sons. Fabulous and special restaurant down the block for dinner. Watched the sun set from our balcony both nights. Thanks to Costanzo and his wonderful place we fell in love with Capri, Anacapri and all the beauty the island has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Bellezza, pulizia, simpatia e cordialità

Quando io ed i miei stavamo ancora per arrivare a Capri con il traghetto ho chiamato Costanzo, proprietario del B&B, che ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie per arrivare alla sua struttura (quale autobus prendere, dove comprare il biglietto, dove scendere) e poi è venuto a prenderci al centro di Anacapri. La nostra camera era bellissima, tutta nuova, pulita, colorata e con una spettacolare vista sul mare (tramonto compreso). Anche la colazione era deliziosa. Oltretutto tengo a sottolineare la gentilezza e cordialità di Costanzo che, con i suoi consigli (come per esempio quello di entrare a nuoto nella grotta azzurra) ha reso il nostro soggiorno all'isola di Capri indimenticabile!

BOOK IT! BEST PLACE EVER!

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a couple of nights. All I can say is WOW! Costenzo and his wife are some of the MOST hospitable people. They picked us up from a plaza nearby and as soon as we got to their place he gave us a map and brochures, took time to explain and talk with us and tell us basically everything about Capri (he is born and raised there) and how to take advantage of our 2 days there. Where to eat, where to swim, how much things were, what to do and what not to do. Specifics JUST so that we'd know exactly where we were going and how we were gonna do things. Seriously, he's the best ever. The room was beautiful! Super comfortable, super clean, breakfast was delicious with many options, they were just so sweet and nice. His wife helped in the breakfast room and she was so kind! Grateful that we got to stay there and we know next time we come we'll for sure stay there! If you need a sign whether or not you should book this place, take this as your sign! We promise you won't regret it! We wish we could have stayed longer but our time was limited since we were visiting other cities in Italy.

Nice room

This place is located a little bit far from the busy places and attractions. However the owner was very kind and room was comfortable. It needs some kind of courage to walk back for 20 minutes to the place at night from the bus and taxi stop.

Room With A Spectacular View

This is a wonderful BnB! My room had its own terrace which had a breathtaking view if the sunset. The owner, Costanzo, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. He gave me a wonderful suggestion for dinner and activities on Capri. In the morning he drove me to me first activity, taking the chairlift to the top of Mt. Solarno to take in the phenomenal view.

We stayed here for two nights, we loved it. We got to enjoy the serenity of the island away from the crowded areas in Capri. The owner was very helpful and welcoming, we felt we were welcomed by a family member. The room was good size, clean, and breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location

Very rural, a couple of km up from Anacapri. We walked which was lovely through vineyards and more (B&B will give you a lift if you have luggage and contact them in advance). It's really near to some beautiful views out the west side of Capri which you'd probably never get round to seeing otherwise - truly amazing. And a good restaurant up there too. Downside, room condition was average for the price. There was a dehumidifier running. Nothing problematic, and the owners were very helpful - but you're paying the money for location and views, don't expect it to be perfectly appointed.

Very nice

We went to Capri for 2 days to spend a nice friday party night with my girl friends. We loved everything the view the room and owners. Breakfast was good just the only thing that it is a bit far, but owner can actually pick you up from the bus station and take you there on your departure then it is much easier than walking that long...

A proprietária foi muito atenciosa e preocupada em nos deixar confortáveis, inclusive foi nos buscar no ponto final do onibus em anacapri, já que o hotel fica a mais de 1 km de onde passam os onibus. A vista é maravilhosa, vale a pena para quem quer isolamento e tem folego para caminhar e subir degraus depois de todos os passeios. Nos deu dicas de passeios,inclusive nos informou que após as 17hs qualquer um pode entrar na gruta azul a nado, sem pagar nada, o que aproveitamos. O único porém é que o isolamento acústico entre os quartos praticamente não existe e seu descanso depende da discrição e respeito dos outros hóspedes.

O local é lindo, a proprietária muito atenciosa, o problema é que a parede dos quartos parece ser inexistente, de forma que tudo que ocorre nos quartos ao lado, parece que está ocorrendo dentro do seu quarto. Após as 23 horas o casal ao lado chegou e foi "namorar", quando acabaram chegaram 3 rapazes em outro quarto e se esqueceram que havia mais gente, falando alto na porta do meu quarto, tive que levantar da cama e pedir para maneirarem. No café da manhã apesar da variedade de pães, iogurt, cereais, senti falta de queijo ou frios, mas nada que incomodasse. E prepare-se para caminhar, pois o hotel fica a 1,2 km de qualquer coisa, seja ponto de onibus, seja a primeira praça para procurar o que comer, e ao voltar tem que subir 50 degraus.

Perfect home away from home

This was a perfect base from which to explore Capri . Away from the usual touristic traps, we saw the simpler side of the Island and benefited from our host recommendations to explore the natural beauty of the Island. We would definitely go back!

Amazing

Myself and a friend only spent one night at Alle Ginestre B&B, but wished we had given ourselves more time there. The location was fantastic: It was only a short bus ride to Capri (which is far more hectic and busy than Anacapri), but remote enough to make you feel as though you were getting a more authentic experience. All of the rooms had a view overlooking the sea/mountains, and I cannot overstate how incredible the view was. Our host was also wonderful, pleasant and helpful. He picked us up from Piazza Vittoria upon arrival (cabs are unable to go beyond this point) and drove us to the B&B. He gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation, which was just a ten minute walk from the B&B (and also had an incredible view). Our meal at the restaurant was hands down our favourite from our ten day trip. He also gave us other great recommendations re: beaches, baggage storage, viewpoints-- He really was very helpful and kind. I would absolutely recommend Alle Ginestre B&B to anyone traveling to the Amalfi Coast/ Capri/Anacapri.
