"We attempted to cancel our stay since the day we were set to arrive in town we learned about the chemical spill/explosion emergency up the street in Garden Grove. Called that morning and staff said they couldn’t cancel since a manager wasn’t in to authorize it. No manager at all at a hotel on a Saturday morning during a holiday weekend? Really? Expedia was zero help as well. Hotel told us to call Expedia, then Expedia kept saying call the hotel. No one was helpful, there was a declared state of emergency just a few miles away, and no manager available weekend. I have no idea what the hotel is like since we never made it into town, but I do know they are extremely unhelpful and entirely unforgiving. I can only imagine how they’d handle an issue on the actual property or during your stay if this is how they conduct business prior to even checking in. Expedia remained unhelpful as well, and I will no longer attempt to do business with them."
