I have had the pleasure of staying @ the Calico Hotel for about six months. It is a nice hotel with outstanding management. It is in close proximity to Knott's Berry Farm and other attractions.

The Calico Motel is one of the best bargains near Knott's Berry Farm. The rooms are clean. There is good management operating the facility, and I would highly recommend the motel to anybody.

Another pleasant stay@ the Calico Motel. It is my home away from home, as I have been here for five weeks. Clean rooms and comfortable beds, which are the two most important elements with a motel.

I have been staying @ the Calico Motel for a few months now. The rooms are always clean. The beds are comfortable. There is excellent management on site, and they are always willing to help when needed. The Motel is in close proximity to Knott's Berry Farm and other attractions.

Don't stay here

Will not stay again. The walls are paper thin, I hear everything. Place is very old and needs to be remodeled. Bars on the window. Just not good. Check in was easy and so was check out. There was no wifi. I mean there was wifi signal, but the provided no direction on what the password was. I just wanted to leave and was very uncomfortable

First welcomed by a musty smell, bugs in the sink with another crawler that disappeared behind the mirror and we could not get to it. Shower wall was crumbling and falling apart to the point that the wall was open. Shower floor appeared dirty but I believe just stained. Toilet had an odd note about unbanding something before use (like in the tank). The bedding was thankfully clean but I would never stay here again. Affordable yes but absolutely falling apart and not worth the ick factor.

Please avoid this property if possible. My room was clearly not cleaned before I was set up. Went to the office to let them know and ask for clean sheets. Had to call 30 mins later to ask again. Was told to “come get it” and only gave me one sheet. Woke up with bug bites and found a bed bug. Bathroom had pee in the toilet seat and walls were filthy and very dirty.

Check in difficult. Got into the room to find the wall sockets hanging out of the wall. Jelly on the door. Broken window screen falling out and the window not able to lock. To make it the worst hotel ive been in.... used condoms under the sheets which seemed to have not been changed. Of course the manager said all was impossible even when shown the pictures. Even the video of the shower not working was not possible. Refused to switch me rooms even though the motel was next to empty which i understand why it is. Worst place managed by the worst people
