Despite showing the desk clerk my confirmation email from Expedia, they said I didn’t have a reservation. I tried reaching someone at Expedia, but your AI chat bot doesn’t have “lost reservation” as an option and it took an hour to get someone by phone. Eventually, I learned that when I changed the dates for my reservation a long time ago, Hilton treated it as a cancellation and even though Expedia gave no indication that anything was wrong and deducted not only the cost of my reservation but the cost of the price change, (which you claim is a change fee From Hilton hotels,) Hilton never got paid and never got the new reservation. I had to cancel my reservation through Expedia and get a new one, at which time they put me in a dirty broom closet next to the elevator. If it is indeed the policy of Hilton to reject changes in dates from Expedia and to always treat them as canceled instead of changes, these two GIANT MULTINATIONAL $$BILLION CORPORATIONS should be about to work that out between them AT ANY TIME instead of leaving it to a weary traveler and the world’s dumbest clerk to figure out at 3 in FUVKING morning. I’ll never stay at Hilton again and I’m debating canceling my account with Expedia. It was nearly impossible to get help, your chat bot is garbage and reaching a human is nearly impossible and when I did finally reach at human, they didn’t help. I still had to resolve the issue on my own. Expedia has refunded $600 of $1,000 I wasted booking w you.
