Staff was great. Hotel looks warn. Carpets look like they haven’t been vacuumed in a week. Looking out at the pond is nice but if you get a room facing the parking lot and street it’s not so nice. Decent but not great overall.

When we arrived, there was a sign that internet and cable would be down from 8 to 11 pm. Disappointed but they didn't end up taking it down, so it was ok. Went to dinner, they were out of whatever they needed for the appetizer we ordered. Room was ok, place is somewhat dated, the view from our room was the neighbor's garage door. Went for breakfast and there was a sign that their credit card system was down and could only pay in cash. Good thing we had cash. Overall, very average in my opinion for a room that was pretty pricy. Picked this hotel for the seaplane coming and going as my husband loves flying. It was a surprise to my husband for our 25th anniversary so was disappointed overall.

We stayed here for 7 nights in May 2024 and the hotel is perfectly adequate but pricey at $400 per night including taxes. Property condition: The property is dated and needs a refresh. Room cleaning is on demand so our room was only cleaned once during our 7 night stay. Location: Located 5 mins drive from the airport and 10 mins drive from downtown Anchorage. They have a shuttle bus that picks you up from the airport and also takes you to downtown. They told me there was shuttle from the railway deport in the evening and I waited in the freezing cold for over 30 mins but it never showed up! This area is full of homeless people and not safe at night. I ended up getting an Uber 😢 Hotel located next to a half-way house so plenty of homeless people in the area so be careful when walking around at night. Mosquitos: This hotel is located next to a lake so swarming with huge mosquitos so take some bug spray with you. I have so many ugly bites 😩 Food: They have two restaurants onsite, both perfectly adequate but nothing special. Both get very busy so be prepared to wait. Our package included an $18 breakfast voucher which buys you a coffee and breakfast for one.
