Hotel Greene King di Andover

"We had to walk up 42 steps to get to our room carrying our baggage. The place is adequate but dated and the hot water difficult to adjust safely. A window in our room was ajar and there was rot and mold around the frame which caused us to leave it that way. There is no one attending the front desk as the person who checked us in did double duty in the restaurant. The food was fine. "

"We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights while we saw family. We enjoyed a meal when we arrived on the Monday evening which was lovely but the portions were large. We decided to have the Continental breakfast on our last morning which is all self service with a lot of choice. The staff were very attentive."

"Good location in centre of town and easy parking at rear of hotel. Dinner here was excellent and good value for money. Our room was a good size and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would just say the hotel could do with a paint refresh, but it is an old building "
