With the continuation of COVID-19, travelling now comes with more challenges than in the past. Keep in mind these handy tips before jumping on your plane to Angermanland:

• Before booking anything, check if any travel restrictions or bans apply — in both your destination and origin. Keep informed with the latest updates by checking government and airport websites.
• Requirements state that you must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, including at security checkpoints. You should be prepared to adjust your mask for identification purposes when asked by a TSA officer.
• Do not hand your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA officer. Rather, position your pass on the reader and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. You'll need to remove it for screening.
• Put any personal items (keys, wallet and phone) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you're carrying for screening. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to touch and inspect your belongings.
