"Staff was very helpful. We had a late check in and they were there to assist. Breakfast was a plus we were not expecting and having a restaurant/bar onsite was very convenient. One downside was that the wifi was not working in our room; but, they did state in advance that not all rooms could reach the wifi because of how old the building was. For a small historic town the room was perfect. Our room had a great view on to a courtyard."

"What was once one of my favoritehotels seems to be falling on hard times. Common area carpets are stained, bathroom shower stall had moldy caulk and 1 of the 2 elevators was broken for the entire stay. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Dundee Malmaison is looking a bit dated, rooms are spacious but with tiny windows, which is a shame as the views across the Tay Estuary are pretty stunning. Loading/drop off beware, we incurred a £50 penalty because we exceeded 10 minutes and the reception desk gives you no warning, which is mystifying. A tiny detail, which can ruin your impression of the stay."

"My single bed room with private bathroom was medium sized. It has a hot water kettle. But no TV. The smallest window opens to let in fresh air. There is a very good shared kitchen, with four fridges, pots, pans, silverware, knifes, microwave, stove and oven. There are five floors with dormitory beds and several private rooms some with shared bathroom and others have pravite bathroom. Check in was fairly easy. Just show ID. Clean towels are on each floor, self service. Front desk in lobby is open...
