I really wanted to love this place. It’s so breathtaking. The staff was pretty nice and welcoming—got into my room a little early. The property is gorgeous but I was very uncomfortable because I couldn’t stay warm. The room had a fountain right outside and I hate noise so this was another drawback for me. It’s very rustic and it gets cold at night and it’s hard to stay warm. No heater just blankets. The biggest perk was the spa and the breakfast. The cacao massage was very good, the therapist did a wonderful job. The restaurant staff was a little distracted and the food was hit or miss. The chilaquiles were probably the best dish , even better than ones I had in Cdmx. The chef was really nice and was eager to make the meal to my liking. I would stay again but ask for a room away from the fountain and during a warm season since they do offer AC just no heating in the rooms.
