"The whole hotel was neglected and looked nothing like the online pictures. The room was filled with dust and dead bugs, holes in the curtains, the elevator didn’t work, the bathtub was disgusting, and the entire place felt gross and unkept."

Beds are hard and second floor ameels like sewage. Front desk said that it was probably the ice machine again. "

"This is a staffless row of suites across from the Pioneer Pocket hotel. You park right in front of your suite which includes a separate living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The room was clean, featured extra toiletries, and was convenient to downtown dining. This is our new favorite in Lubbock and was very reasonably priced."

"Parking wasn’t a challenge, even with a bus in the parking lot. Check in and check out was smooth. The breakfast had about what you’d expect for a La Quinta - not great, not bad. The condition of the room was honestly probably the worst I’ve seen of the many La Quintas I’ve stayed at. The shower walls had cracks, edges needed caulking and there was visible mildew. The furniture had a lot of damage and stains. The bedding had a yellow stain on top. The main door to the room clearly didn’t fit the...
