I feel that I have been mislead by Marbella hotel. What they put on pictures are totally misleading. Itโ€™s absolutely disgusting: the room was smelly, very dirty/filthy, toilets were broken, kitchen sink was leaking, stove didnโ€™t work, water was dirty and black, bed linen was stained and smelly, towels were dirty and the list goes on. This hotel doesnโ€™t even deserve any rating. They shouldnโ€™t be allowed to operate. They mislead the customer(s) completely. I suggest Expedia to take Marbella hotel off the lists. We booked the suite executive room only to be shocked by itโ€™s beyond poor condition! We had to move to a different room twice, each time we shocked even more. The third time they tried to move us to another room, we decided to ask for a refund as thereโ€™s no way we could stay for another night in that filthy room. We had no shower, no sleep, could not use the toilets and we felt so exhausted. We managed to speak to the manager & asked for a refund. The Manager (Mr Paksi) had consented to give us the refund - all was done over the phone and was witnessed by Mr Didi on Saturday 14 May 2022 late evening. We urge anyone not to stay at Marbella Hotel Anyer. I just feel really sorry for the workers. I have emailed Mr Paksi regarding the refund and waiting for his response.

Hotel yang sudah kurang perawatan

MArbella yang sekarang sudah berbeda dengan beberapa tahun yang lalu. KOndisi hotel ini perlu diperhatikan karena kurang perawatannya, interior nya sudah banyak kerusakan dan kotor. Fasilitas juga kurang perawatan kecuali kolam renang yang masih lumayan.

Hotel Bagus yang Tidak terawat

Kami menginap selama 2 malam, hari pertama karena terlalu banyak yang dikomplen (AC, dan kukas yang tidak dingin,lampu yang kedap-kedip), kami ditawarkan pindah ke kamar lain yang sedikit lebih besar. Ditawari pindah dari jam 6 sore, tapi kami baru dapat pindah ke kamar yang baru jam 9 malam, sementara anak-anak sudah sangat mengantuk. Fasilitas hotel ok, terletak di depan pantai, kolam renang yang asik dan menyenangkan, serta sarapan yang menyenangkan. Sayangnya kebersihan hotel kurang terjaga, misalnya kondisi lobby dan lorong2 yang terasa pengap dan spooky. Sementara fasilitas fitness center juga alat-alatnya banyak yang rusak. Petugas hotel sendiri sih cukup kooperatif dan sabar dalam menghandle komplain kami, namun mungkin karena kurang orang / personil, jadi responnya agak lama.

Hotel perlu di renovasi. Kamar tempat kami menginap kotor, pada saat masuk kamar tercium bau rokok, balkoni kotor ada seperti kotoran tikus atau burung di pojokan, atap balkoni bolong seperti ada lubang tikus. Sprei atau tempat tidur lembab dan agak bau sperti bau ompol. Lemari es tidak dingin, AC berisik, air hangat/panas di bathtub kurang, splash di toilet untuk siram air kecil/besar kurang lancar. Room Service cukup lama dan kurang memuaskan. Fasilitas OK, lokasi hotel mudah aksesnya tuk menikmati suasana laut.

Beda dgn pengalaman sebelumnya di marbella,, Kali ini Pengalaman saya dan org2 yg check in dan check out di tanggal 23 tepat pada waktu saya check in sangat tidak professional. Antrian yg panjang, kamar yg belum โ€Žsiapp untuk dipakai, kondisi kamar yg disebutkan ada kitchenette... Tdk ada piring atau sendok 1 pun, cuma 2 cangkir dan 1 sendok kecil. Tdk ada kopi atau tea, sy di kamar 6674 keadaan kamar mandi yg sangat memprihatinkan, tdk sesuai dgn bintang 4 nya.. Closet yg kotor, shower yg airnya kecil sekali, pokoknya sangat amat memprihatinkan

Bad bad experience

I think I made one of the biggest mistake while selecting this resort for my family stay. Until now, this is my worst experience of staying in any resort in Indonesia. Hotel is quite big, but they have not maintained it for guests. The big spider webs and big spiders which we see in movies are actually available in this hotel. They have lack of staff, those who are working there are not able to manage this much size of hotel. Only one lift was operational to manage 200 rooms from 2nd to 9th floor. The room amenities was pathetic. We ourself changed the bedsheet and it was a disaster to use the dirty bedsheets. AC was not working. I think we wasted our money here and because we actually tried to move to some other hotel but we didnโ€™t got rooms available. I strongly request hotel management to look into this otherwise they will lose customers.

Crescively swollen wood halls, stale buildings crumbling, house to posts, wires crawl, geckos white on tiles froze, stairwells, browned and bronze, red burrs clinging to the rails, loyal comers wise to the details, finding a new freedom, only you can believe in, secrets rumor the tales. Beach tones, mopeds roam, burrowed hideaways, outline the local drape, spoken faith twice a day, chanting therapeutic, in the jungle acoustic, the day makes the way at island pace, finished in silhouettes, blues, yellows, oranges and reds. Antique tarnished painted pink, Roots, beliefs, colors batik unique, vintage old paintings screaming, from the walls to your mind teeming, the mistress of the dinette, laughing and smiling, composed of few words, simple, rehearsed, beguiling. Nice Location, Needs Improvements/Upgrades

The Hotel is located nicely on the beach, and has nice outdoor sports facilities such as a swimming pool and tennis courts. There are lots of local stores and restaurants around the area to shop and dine in at reasonable prices Sadly, the buildings are in bad need of repainting, as mold and mildew could be seen in several places. The elevator buttons had the numbers scratched off them, and the lobby floor wasn't clearly marked The Studio Room over all has a nice feel to it: bright, big. However, the following issues need to addressed: 1) Toilet wasn't working properly. The water reservoir wasn't closing off during refilling. This meant that the water had to be shut off to stop the water flowing noisily, making it hard to sleep at night The water then had to be turned on to flush the toilet, using the water gun/hose 2) The bathtub had rust and damage to it 3) The shower knobs were loose 4) the bed mattress needs to be replaced. It is clearly an old mattress, making is hard to sleep comfortably. 5) Wifi kept going down. Mobile data reception was weak in the area, meaning that loss of the Wifi was even more of a problem If it wasn't for the very low price of the room and the friendliness of the staff, I would have rated this stay lower. Management has some to do if they ant to increase business to the property

Good location, above average standard

After changing rooms to a ground floor suite with external access to pool and close to beach the mood was happier and we enjoyed the stay. It's a big hotel and some rooms will involve a lengthy walk to common areas. The rooms were quiet but the decor is dated and all rooms could do with refurbishment. Pillows, bed sheets and towels also look overdue for replacement. However the property is nicely located with the resort grounds fronting onto a large stretch of beach where waves roll in, and locals at beach stalls provide cheap eats, sell small items, and arrange recreational activities. The beach promenade area also afforded great views at sunset. The buffet meals were more than adequate without being lush. Plenty of parking available, and a small convenience store located on site for those little extras including a small selection of preferred beverages. The service staff were friendly enough but overall the level of service is not going to take any awards. The place is popular for families and groups which lends some life to the place. Overall with the hotels.com discount it was good value for a large resort and provided a relaxing few days stay. I would certainly consider staying there again.

Literally Falling Apart

I had two days to kill and this seemed to be the best hotel on the west coast of Java to get out of polluted Jakarta. This hotel, originally built by the Spanish Melia group, was probably beautiful once, but is now literally falling apart and in severe decline. I witnessed the outside hallway ceiling collapse onto the floor due to A/C condensate draining into the ceiling area. It continued to drain into the floor with no intervention by staff. I noticed this was happening in several areas. The customers now are primarily Jakarta locals visiting overnight On weekends. I was the only westerner for the whole weekend. Wifi performance was terrible - no bandwidth so it was useless when more than a few customers were online, and had to enter a complicated username and password every time I opened my phone or laptop. The electronic door keys had to be reset for me three times in two days. The door lock broke so I couldn't leave the room unattended for an afternoon until it was fixed. The bleach in front of the hotel is completely lined with shacks selling all manner of food and other junk and the beach is quite dirty The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but anything involving technology seemed to be problematic. Food was ok, drinks expensive.
