"If you are travelling with immunocompromised people , I would not recommend this motel . Cleanliness is so important . Bathrooms need good scrub. Here you are responsible for emptying your own rubbish bins . Great for arranging transport and giving tips on what to see. Nice little pool ."

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We arrived, anticipating an attractive and heated pool. We discovered a very dirty, shabby out of date pool that was cold. After much communication with Expedia, the owners of the hotel turned up the temperature on the pool. Unfortunately, because the hotel was listed as a four-star hotel, but was maybe at least a 2 1/2 star or three star hotel, we decided to go somewhere else. "Old hotel, but well maintained. No elevator, and a deep jetted tub for a shower that would be difficult for someone older or anyone with mobility issues to get in and out of. The room included some basic kitchen supplies which was nice. Excellent location for exploring the town or 4 mile beach. Car park was convenient"

"The room was super spacious, big comfy bed, really nice bathroom, had everything we needed and there was a pool! Also, there was a shared kitchen next to the pool, if you wanted to go all out and cook your own food, otherwise, you had the necessities in your room. Super lovely staff also, very friendly and lovely to talk to."

"The locationis great and is within walking distance to Beach, shops and parks. Unfortunately the condition of the apartment was stale, dated and in need of a refresh. Particularly replacement of the large couch with the broken arm held up bu the coffee table, TV didn't work and the kitchen facilities needed a deep clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Definitely overpriced for the conditions of the apartment. Laundry facilities were clean and tidy."

"Everything clean, spacious room but was filled with a lot of ornaments. Umsure why I was put in an accessiblity room - as a tall person low set facilities not comfortable "

"Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer."

"We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom Villa. It was perfect for our family of 7. Hotel staff was wonderful. Great looking property and fabulous pool area. Location is less than ten minutes from central Port Douglas. Access to the beach. We will definitely return for a longer stay!"
