"We loved the Eccelso Hotel while staying in Rome. The Prati neighborhood was quiet and safe and within walking distance to all of the spots we wanted to visit while staying in Rome. The front end manager was very sweet and she took the time to give us helpful hints while staying in Rome and also guided us to several amazing restaurants and sites. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in Rome."

"The best thing was that it is right outside the Vatican and close to restaurants and shopping. Expedia says breakfast included, it wasn’t. Not enough hot water pressure in the faucet and took too long to get the hot water. Dated furniture. The manager, Cynthia was very helpful and speaks very good English. No front desk. "

Lots of wonderful restaurants on the same block and supermarket across the street for essentials and snacks was great! Would highly recommend and would stay there again next time in Rome."

"Great little find, fabulous location to visit all the key sights of Rome. Very quirky building with a fabulous old lift. Only negative would be the rooms have a lack of plug sockets. There was only one in the room, but other than that it was great and would visit again."

"Location is excellent. Rooms were clean and well maintained. But staff support was lacking. No one to be found after check-in. They have complimentary pastries in the morning which was a nice touch, along with a small shared kitchenette."
