We had some problems checking in; we paid twice for some water we took from the room's minibar, and the staff, looking at the payment receipt from the app, forced us to pay again. "This pousada has amazing potential. The property itself is beautiful, a bit of an oasis with royal palms (I think), tropical vegetation and with Koi ponds. The common area, sort of a club house with pool table and library, a nice pool and breakfast area are all very nice and peaceful, and all with wifi. The breakfasts were very good, and the kitchen help was very sweet. Unfortunately there were too many little niggly things that were bothersome, that when added up left us a little frustrated....

"Great location, clean, nice bathroom, comfy bed, english speaking staff. Honor based minibar in the room and the same for the bar next to the pool. Only drawback would be few outlets to charge devices in the rooms. I'd rate this pousada above their 4 star competitors in Buzios."
