"Place was a surprise. Close to what we were planning on doing but not what we were expecting. Owner gave us some great tips and we experienced some great Irish music and food at the local bars. Was one of the highlights of our trip. Had one of the best Irish stews we had on our trip. Breakfast was also very good"

"There are too many stairs and no elevator. Some rooms do not have AC. The hotel is on Galway Bay and the grounds are beautifully kept with walking trails to the rocky beach. It is about 7 miles from Galway which could be an issue for some without their own transportation. We would stay there again."

"The location of this hotel is both spectacular and dramatic. We booked the sea view superior room. We were allocated room 147. What a room, if it’s not the best in the hotel I would like to see what is. Amazing wrap around views of the coast and a copper tub in the corner of the room to admire them from. Outstanding.! "What a cute little place! Beautiful hot shower after a day trekking the countryside and comfy bed. Many options in town for dinner and packed with locals. Very cute cows across the road and gorgeous views from the window. "

"Very clean, spacious room with 2 large windows overlooking Main Street, with generous transom windows above that. Staff very kind and helpful. Great food for dinner, and for the free madero order breakfast as well. I only wish the self serve portion could be opened before 8am, or available by request to your room, for those of us checking out early. Great location, huge parking area behind the hotel. Loved it!"
