"This hotel is definitely an “old but gold” kind of place. The location is fantastic—you can easily walk to the beach, the aquarium, and the main street, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and shops. We stayed in a studio suite. It was small, but it had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a sofa bed, and a kitchen. The room was clean overall, although not spotless. There were a few areas in the bedroom and bathroom that could have used a better sweep or vacuum. One thing to keep in mind if you plan to cook is that the kitchen is very minimally stocked. There were no basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, or olive oil. We also noticed there was no dishwasher detergent or sponge—only dish soap. The suite includes a washer and dryer, which worked perfectly, but you’ll need to bring or buy your own laundry detergent. The complimentary breakfast is quite small, but the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also loved the lobby, which is more updated than the rooms. It has a cozy atmosphere with lots of board games, making it a great place to relax and spend some time. Overall, we had a great stay. While the hotel could use some updates and a few more thoughtful amenities, its excellent location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made it a great choice for a couple of nights."

The inn itself is charming, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax on the Oregon Coast. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and cozy, and the quiet location was ideal for a restful getaway while still being just minutes from Cannon Beach. If you’re looking for a romantic weekend, a peaceful retreat, or simply a memorable place to stay on the Oregon Coast, I highly recommend Arch Cape Inn & Retreat. We left feeling refreshed and are already looking forward to our next visit!"
