"This is a lovely inn on a hilltop overlooking the water. Everything is very well maintained, the food fantastic, and the room had everything we needed. What makes it stand out is the staff- they were welcoming, professional, kind and friendly- going over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Recommendations for meals and outings were always presented. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"Hotel is tired and run down and very expensive for the level of cleanliness and amenities. TVs did not work in any of our six rooms and staff were so unhelpful. Good in bar was average, drinks were very expensive and to be honest I think we should have had a refund based on our experience. It was requested but fell on deaf ears…. Avoid as there are much better options."

"The room was not too expensive, breakfast was ok. A little too far from the center if Skye to travel back and forth. Would have stayed closer to the center around Portree for the points we visited. The room truly served its purpose; somewhere to sleep. Not frill but totally adequate"

"Hugely overpriced for the standard of accommodation and quality of food on offer. Rooms and dining area cold as heating was not on, although these issues were addressed once I complained. I struggle to see how it has 2 AA rosettes having eaten in multiple fine dining restaurants. The following night we ate at the Old Manse of Blair which also holds 2 AA rosettes and the gulf in quality, favour and service was laughable - the AA should revisit! The rooms are a mish mash of styles and tired. I...

"Great property. It is a remote location that is a bit of a drive to get to. It would be great (imho) for stays consisting of at least several days or longer. One suggestion for the property is to add a mirror over the bathroom sink. The mirror on the opposite wall isn’t as practical. Beautiful views and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you!"

"Got what we paid for, small apt with low roof at the door, if you’re over 6”2 make sure you duck walking in and out, I have the bumps on my head to prove it lol"

"Breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely helpful. Mind the many stairs on main floor, and pay attention; I looked back for one second and ended up on the floor with a sprained/rolled ankle. There are signs, but apparently this girl needs a flashing neon sign."

"This is a VIP cabin in the middle of heaven. The surrounding looks like it's out of a nature postcard. Location is very convinient to explore Skye, assuming you have a car. You do need one to stay at this cabin."

"The location is right at Skye Bridge, easy to get in to Skye and leave Skye. It's a good location but not a lot of dining option close by."
